When you send an inquiry through the contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, city, your dog's name, and a description of the training challenge. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and to provide training services.
Like most websites, we also collect basic usage analytics through Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and how you arrived at the site. This data helps us understand how the site is used and make it better. It is not used to identify you personally.
How your information is used
Inquiry details are delivered to The Dog Savant by email and stored securely so we can follow up with you about training. We use your contact information only to communicate with you about your inquiry and any services you request.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Ever.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics may set cookies to measure site usage. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add on available from Google, or by using your browser's privacy controls. The site works fine with cookies disabled.
Third party services
The site embeds videos from YouTube and links to platforms like Spotify, Instagram, Facebook, and Yelp. When you interact with those embeds or links, those companies may collect data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
Your rights
California residents have the right to know what personal information we hold about them, to request a copy of it, and to request that it be deleted. To exercise any of these rights, email info@thedogsavant.com and we will respond promptly. We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults arranging dog training services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
